Tryouts

Thanks for considering the Mass Drifters as your Softball Organization for the upcoming 2024 -2025 Season. The Mass Drifters have a rich 50+ year history training 1000's of female athletes to compete at their highest level. Our passion is teaching the game of softball.

When are practices held?

• Showcase always practice on Saturdays
• All other divisions will practice one night a week
• practices are either outside at the W Elm Street field or in the clubhouse

If I join the Drifters, what comes with program?

• use of the clubhouse
• two sets of uniforms, helmet, bat bag (unless returning Drifter with gear in good shape)
• Winter League softball in the Bridgwater Dome (additional fee applies)
• 6 - 8 Summer Tournaments and, if possible, 1 - 2 Fall Tournaments

Can I tryout for more than one division?

• Absolutely! During the tryout registration process, just pick the division you are most interested in and during the tryouts, you can communicate what other divisions you want to be considered for.

Do I need to attend all three days of the tryouts?

• We encourage you to attend all three days but if you can't, just indicate which days you will attend in the comments section of the tryout registration process.

Is there a fee for tryouts?

• Yes, we charge a nominal $20 fee to help pay for the use of the field/utilities at clubhouse
